More reasons to consider Parent Coaching:

A Coach is an accountability partner who can help you build skills and implement an effective parenting plan...

Many factors contribute to the issues modern families face in their parenting experience - from the simple such as a lack of understanding of child development or of age-appropriate expectations, to the more complex issues of generational trauma from our own childhood that has never healed.

Here are some specific ways that a parent coach can help parents make the shift to empowered parenting:

  • Help improve parenting skills. A parent coach can provide parents with the tools and resources they need to understand their children's developmental stages and needs, develop effective communication and problem-solving skills, and set clear and consistent boundaries based on family values.

  • Help build stronger relationships. A parent coach can help parents learn how to connect with their children on a deeper level, resolve conflict more effectively, and provide their children with the emotional support they need.

  • Address specific parenting challenges. A parent coach can help parents who are struggling with specific parenting challenges, such as defiance, disrespect, or anxiety. They can also help parents who are co-parenting, raising children with special needs, or dealing with other complex parenting issues.

  • Help parents manage their own emotions so that they can respond to their children in a calm and rational way. A parent coach can guide parents to recognize their triggers and regulate their emotions in order to create a peaceful space to hold their child's big feelings without anger or shame.

  • Provide parents with support and encouragement as they make changes to their parenting style. A parent coach can provide parents with guidance and support as they navigate new, unfamiliar expectations. They can provide strategies for dealing with difficult situations, offer a listening ear, and help parents process their own emotions in order to better handle their kids emotions.

If you are feeling stuck in your parenting, if you are struggling to connect with your child, or if you are experiencing any of the above scenarios, I encourage you to consider parent coaching.

I'm here to accompany you on your journey to better parenting.
